We are High Peak Badger Group. Based in the Peak District in Derbyshire, we work to protect and care for Badgers and their setts in the local area. As well as raising awareness about our beloved Badgers, we also rescue and rehabilitate injured Badgers, monitor their habitats and try to give them a happy life without interfering with their nightly antics!

We are heavily involved in the Badger Edge Vaccination Scheme (BEVS) with Derbyshire Wildlife Trust and the National Trust. The Vaccination Project works to vaccinate Badgers against Bovine TB to help stop the spread of the disease as an alternative to culling.
